3-ingredient no-bake bliss balls

Date bites or bliss balls as they are often called can be varied limitlessly. You can add all kinds of gluten free flours, grains, seeds, nuts or even extracts to spice them up. It really just depends on your personal preferences.

But sometimes simple is good. So I wanted to share a real basic recipe with you all that I made this weekend with my son. Bliss balls are so fun to make for kids, so you should definitely let your kids join in!


20 pitted dates

1/2 cup / 1 deciliter of water

1 1/2 cup / 3 deciliters of quick oats

2 1/2 tbsp of cocoa powder


Blend the dates with the water until it turns into a smooth paste. Transfer to a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. If your dough is too wet, simply add more oats. Shape into small balls and cover them with coconut flour, cocoa powder, chopped nuts or whatever you prefer. Store in a container in the fridge.
